Let us pray:
O God! Who sent among us Thy blessed Servant, St. Patrick, to instruct and save us, and did infuse into his heart so great a share of Thy own tenderness, charity and zeal. Listen we beseech Thee, to the prayers of our own glorious patron and Father in Heaven, and grant us, through his intercession, the intention of this Novena N….., and the grace rather to die than offend Thee.
