Statement on the Occasion of the Launch of the safeguarding review of Poor Clare Sisters by the National Board.

The Poor Clare Sisters, Graiguecullen, Carlow invited the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland (NBSCCI) to conduct a review of Safeguarding practice in the Order.  This was done and today we the Poor Clare Sisters publish the report on our website.  The Sisters welcome the report and fully accept its contents.

We express our gratitude to the staff in the National Office for their continued work on our behalf.  To-day we think of survivors of abuse and assure them of a remembrance in our prayers.
